Dental Implants

Dental implants are used to replace teeth that are missing due to gum disease, tooth decay or injury. Dental implants can be used to replace one or many missing teeth and are a flexible treatment option that most patients are qualified to receive.

Dentures & Partials

Dentures are used to restore the smiles of those who have lost all of their teeth and bridges are used to replace areas of the mouth where teeth are missing. Dentures and bridges can be difficult to design so that they fit comfortably which is why it’s important to see a qualified dentist at Happy Molar Dental to ensure your smile looks and feels natural for life.

Root Canals

Anyone who has experienced an infected tooth knows how painful the experience can be. Let us take care of you and treat your infection quickly and with minimal discomfort. Root canals don’t have to be painful and we offer advanced techniques to ensure your comfort is assured.

Dental Extraction

Tooth removal is performed for a wide variety of reasons, but mostly because they have become unrestorable through decay, disease or trauma. Sometimes wisdom teeth are extracted if they become impacted (stuck and unable to grow normally). Sometimes a perfectly healthy tooth is extracted if your teeth are crowded and space is needed for orthodontic procedures so the rest of the teeth can be straightened.

Periodontics

Periodontal disease or gum disease, can cause serious issues with your teeth and gums and is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. It’s important to understand the impact of gum disease on your overall health and what treatment options are available to you if you have been diagnosed with periodontal disease.

Restorative Dentistry

A bite that has been compromised as a result of severe decay or tooth loss can make it difficult to eat, chew, and speak without feeling discomfort or pain. Fortunately, we offer highly technical and advanced restorative dentistry treatments including dental implants, dentures, and full mouth reconstructions to restore function and comfort back to your smile.

Sedation Dentistry

Sedation dentistry allows us to treat your mouth without the fear or anxiety associated with dentistry. Don’t let fear of the dentist prevent you from getting the care you need. Our sedation options ensure you will be relaxed throughout your procedure.

Oral Pathology Exam

Oral Pathology Exams are used to determine whether there are any diseases of the oral cavity, jaws or related structures such as the salivary glands, facial muscles or the skin around the mouth. If the exam uncovers anything that our specialists do not have the expertise to treat, you can rest assured that we will be able to make a referral.

Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD or TMJ)

Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD or TMJ) is the term used for pain and dysfunction of the muscles that move the jaw and the joints that connect the mandible (jawbone) to the skull. The most significant feature of TMJ is the pain, followed by restricted jawbone movement and noises during jaw movement. Although not life threatening, it can be extremely detrimental to a person’s quality of life because the symptoms can become chronic and difficult to manage. Occlusal Adjustment can be used to treat TMJ and involves selective grinding (with a dental drill) at the enamel of the occlusal surfaces of teeth, with the aim of allowing the upper teeth to fit with the lower teeth in a more harmonious way.

Preventative Care

Preventative care is something we practice ourselves and highly recommend at Happy Molar Dental. We are happy to provide instruction or support to any and all of our patients, particularly those patients who may be undergoing a procedure that requires extra attention outside the office. In addition to preventing cavities and getting a thorough checkup and cleaning, preventing dental issues from becoming worse is the purpose of seeing a dentist on a regular basis. An ounce of prevention is truly worth more than a pound of cure when it comes to dental health.
